ONE Clemson Provides Black Girls Golf Scholarships

Black Girls Golf teaches the game of golf to young women of color in order to prepare them for future careers in the business world.

ONE Clemson provided 43 scholarships to Black Girls Golf students to attend the Clemson University PGA Golf Management’s Summer Scholars Session in 2017,  2018 and 2019.  Unfortunately the program was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19.

The participants got the chance to experience the PGA Golf Management program and get a taste of what it is like to be a student at Clemson University.

In 2020, the ONE Clemson Board started a scholarship fund to provide Clemson tuition assistance to a Black Girls Golf Summer Scholars participant.  The Board plans to grow the fund for additional scholarships.
